It seems that every summer there are news reports of children dying when they are left behind in a closed vehicle. This is why an inventor from Ithaca, N.Y., has developed the patent-pending KID SAVER. This system makes use of readily available technology to help safeguard a child unattended in the vehicle when the interior temperature is rising.
"I've heard of too many news reports of children dying in the back seat of vehicles because they were left unattended in extreme temperatures. These accidents can be prevented with my invention," said the inventor. The KID SAVER helps keep kids safe by preventing tragic, heat-related injuries or deaths. This system will alert a driver or nearby motorist if a child left unattended. If an adult happened to overlook a child in the backseat, he/she will be alerted. This safety system will provide peace of mind for concerned parents, grandparents and other child care providers.
