Anthony Dunn’s New Book “The Dreamer & the Believer” is a Moving Tale About Finding Inspiration Amidst Struggles and Tragedies
(PRWEB) December 20, 2017 -- Anthony Dunn, who formed a rock band called Cross Solder with a fellow high school friend, and went on to record two albums and produced three music videos, eventually disbanding after six years of performing, has completed his new book “The Dreamer & the Believer”: a gripping narrative inspired by the author’s struggle with life inside and outside the band.
Author Dunn shows how music, whether by playing an instrument, singing the melody, or just listening, can have a profound effect on a person: “It felt nice to be here, but there was one thing that caught my attention in the corner of the room. It was an acoustic guitar with a music stand beside it. I walked over to check it out. I always wanted to learn how to play when I was a little kid, but my foster parents wouldn’t let me. As I approached it, it said Fender on the headstock and had six strings. I didn’t know hardly anything about guitars, but I really wanted to learn. I picked up the guitar and sat it on my lap. I opened the book that was on the music stand. It was going to teach me everything about the fundamentals and the theory of music.”
Published by New York City-based Page Publishing, Anthony Dunn’s stirring account follows the journey of the orphan David, his struggle with prison life, discovery of love and talent for music, and a redeeming career as a band member, in a life-changing journey inspired by true events.
Readers who wish to experience this amazing work can purchase “The Dreamer & the Believer” at bookstores everywhere, or online at the Apple iTunes store, Amazon, Google Play, Kobo, or Barnes and Noble.
