INDIANAPOLIS (PRWEB) December 17, 2017 -- During the November meeting of the Horizon University Board of Directors, Bill Goodrich was nominated and unanimously elected as the new Chairman of the Board.
Chairman Goodrich was previously the President of Horizon University, as well as Pastor of Horizon Christian Fellowship Indianapolis. As President of Horizon University, Bill Goodrich was instrumental in attracting key leadership and launching new programs including Chaplaincy and Counseling. Chairman Goodrich shares, “I look forward to helping continue the great work that Horizon University has started here in Indianapolis. My new role as Chairman allows me to provide key oversight and guidance while following where the Lord leads in the existing commitments to our church family and our community.”
Also nominated and approved unanimously during the November board meeting was the recommendation to appoint Dr. Randall Dodge to the newly vacant office of President at Horizon University. Having previously served at other institutions of higher learning here in Indiana (including Taylor University and Indiana University), President Dodge is uniquely suited for the program and enrollment growth plans the school is now implementing.
Having served as the EVP of Horizon University since January 2016, Dr. Dodge shares, “I am both humbled and honored to accept the position as President of Horizon University and look forward to serving with our staff and students as we are all challenged to grow in ‘Wisdom for Eternity and Leadership for Life.”
