John Leeson joins Howard Capital Management, Inc. (HCM) as Vice President of Retirement Distribution
ATLANTA (PRWEB) December 19, 2017 -- Howard Capital Management, Inc. (HCM) has announced that retirement expert, John Leeson, has joined the firm as Vice President of Retirement Distribution. John will be working with retirement plan advisors, plan sponsors and governmental agencies throughout the country on improving the success rates for retirement plan participants utilizing HCM's proprietary investment solutions. These solutions include HCM's 401(k) Optimizer® and TSP Navigator®, both of which are designed to assist employees in appropriately allocating their retirement assets before they retire, as well as suggesting allocation changes when market conditions fluctuate.
"Our philosophy and investing strategies here at HCM are designed with the intent to help investors reach their investment goals, while striving to keep their assets on the safe side of the market" says CEO and owner, Vance Howard. "We are excited to implement John's knowledge into the retirement services we offer here at HCM."
Prior to joining HCM, John has spent over 20 years in the financial services industry solely focused on the retirement plan marketplace. While working with retirement plan sponsors and advisors on designing, implementing and managing solutions in today's ever-increasingly complex retirement arena, John's expertise has been widely recognized in the field. A previous finalist for Plan Advisor magazine's "Retirement Advisor of the Year", he frequently speaks to various industry groups and has been interviewed and quoted on retirement planning issues in publications such as Plan Sponsor magazine and the Wall Street Journal.
"Throughout my career, I have always tried to stay at the forefront of where the retirement industry is trending", John states. "What appealed to me about Howard Capital, was that they have taken true personalized money management principles and applied them to an individual's retirement plan. Whenever I've held employee retirement education meetings, employees have said to me, "I don't understand this stuff (investing), I don't necessarily want to understand this stuff, I just want someone to tell me what percentage of my money to put where, and when to move it." A solution to those statements is what Howard brings to the table, and that is why I'm so excited to be a part of this team."

Disclosures: Howard Capital Management is registered with the SEC and only transacts business where it is properly registered or is otherwise exempt from registration. SEC registration does not constitute an endorsement of the firm by the Commission nor does it indicate that the advisor has attained a particular level of skill or ability. Changes in investment strategies, contributions or withdrawals, and economic conditions may materially alter the performance of your portfolio. Different types of investments involve varying degrees of risk, and there can be no assurance that any specific investment or strategy will be suitable or profitable for an investor’s portfolio. Past performance may not be indicative of future results. Account information has been compiled solely by Howard Capital Management and has not been independently verified. Historical performance results for investment indexes and/or categories have been provided for general comparison purposes only and generally do not reflect the deduction of transaction and/or custodial charges or the deduction of an investment-management fee, the incurrence of which would have the effect of decreasing historical performance results.
There are no assurances that a portfolio will match or outperform any particular benchmark. Certain performance results contained herein are derived from the retroactive application of a model developed with the benefit of hindsight. This is known as “back testing.” Back testing involves a hypothetical reconstruction, based on past market data, of what the performance of a particular account would have been had the adviser been managing the account using a particular investment strategy. Performance results presented do not represent actual trading using client assets but were achieved through retroactive application of a model that was designed with the benefit of hindsight. Back tested performance results have inherent limitations, particularly the fact that these results do not represent actual trading and may not reflect the impact that material economic and market factors might have placed on the adviser’s decision-making if the adviser were actually managing the client’s money. These results should not be viewed as indicative of the adviser’s skill and do not reflect the performance results that were achieved by any particular client. During this period, the adviser was not providing advice using this model and clients’ results were materially different. The model that gave rise to these back tested performance results is one that the adviser is now using in managing clients’ accounts. Hypothetical performance returns are presented net-of-fees and reflect the reinvestment of dividends and capital gains.
The TSP Navigator® and 401(k) Optimizer® programs are advice-oriented programs designed to help clients invest in their employer’s TSP, 401(k) or similar defined contribution plan. Clients receive professional recommendations from Howard Capital Management, Inc. and maintain total control over their personal accounts. The goal is to reduce risk by taking proactive measures with company-sponsored retirement plans. Changes in investment strategies, contributions or withdrawals may materially alter the performance, strategy and results of your portfolio. Different types of investments involve varying degrees of risk, and there can be no assurance that any specific investment (including the investments and/or investment strategies recommended by the advisor), will either be suitable or profitable for a client’s investment portfolio. Past performance is no guarantee of future results. Please work with your financial advisor to determine which investment program is consistent with your financial objectives and risk tolerance. Fees and costs are disclosed in Form ADV Part II and the TSP Navigator® Program Agreement. Please refer to these documents for any questions. Advisory services offered through Howard Capital Management, Inc. Past performance is no guarantee of future results. The HCM 401(k) Optimizer® has been evaluated by DALBAR to determine if it meets the requirements to be used as a Certified Computer Model as defined by the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974, as amended [“ERISA”] Section 408(g) and Internal Revenue Code [“IRC”] Section 4975(d)(17). As a result, the HCM 401(k) Optimizer® computer model has been granted Certified Computer Model status by DALBAR. This is important, because ERISA plan fiduciaries who meet all other ERISA requirements and use a certified computer model will qualify for the fiduciary relief granted under ERISA Section 408(g).
Howard Capital Management offers its investment methodology through multiple programs that may invest in exchange traded funds, variable annuities and mutual funds.
