SAN FRANCISCO (PRWEB) December 20, 2017 -- Datometry, the pioneer in Adaptive Data Virtualization technology, today announced that Dimitri Korablev, an industry and startup veteran has been appointed VP of Engineering. With Datometry’s database and data warehouse virtualization software, enterprises can replatform their applications to the cloud in weeks, not years, saving 85% or more compared to a conventional migration.
Korablev brings over 20 years of industry and startup experience to Datometry, spanning data management, SaaS, data integration, enterprise security, and telephony in both the U.S. and Europe. He is a veteran of six startups, including Deem, Strevus, and Qiva, and has also held key positions at GE Digital, Informatica, and Siperian. At GE Digital, Korablev was the VP of Engineering & Technical Product Management for GE's Predix Industrial IoT platform, responsible for a broad range of data and analytical services as well as the Digital Twin program. At Informatica, Korablev was VP and General Manager of Product Information Management and headed up product strategy for Master Data Management and the Industry Solutions groups. At Siperian, he led Engineering and Architecture prior to the company’s acquisition by Informatica.
“I'm excited to be a part of Datometry as we are solving some of most pressing technology challenges of rapid cloud adoption for enterprise data management,” said Dmitri Korablev. “I am looking forward to taking the unique technology pioneered by Datometry to the next level and build out a product portfolio that truly liberates enterprise data by enabling applications to access data regardless of the databases that manage it.”
Mike Waas, Founder and CEO of Datometry adds, “I am thrilled, Dmitri Korablev is joining Datometry. His expertise and engineering leadership is a great addition to our team as we are preparing for a significant expansion of our operations to meet increasing demand in the cloud marketplace.”
