Combination Letter Opener and Coupon Clipper Invented
PITTSBURGH (PRWEB) December 17, 2017 -- Most efficient office workers find that keeping supplies organized contributes to productivity and reduces wasted time spent looking for things. Despite these good intentions, small items like coupon clippers still tend to get lost. That is exactly why two inventors from Oceanside, N.Y., conceived of a way to improve efficiency by modifying a conventional letter opener to include a built-in coupon clipper.
They developed a prototype for SLIT & CLIP to provide a quick and easy way to open sealed envelopes and clip coupons in one unit. As such, it eliminates the need for a separate letter opener and coupon clipper. At the same time, it helps keep office supply drawers organized and needed supplies readily accessible. Thus, it saves time, effort and space and is convenient, effective and affordably priced. Other appealing features include safety, versatility and a novel design. In addition, it is compact, lightweight and easy to use and store.
The inventors’ personal experience inspired the idea. “I always have a hard time locating the small coupon clipper in my office supply drawer and thought if it was attached to the larger letter opener, that would solve the problem,” one of them said.
