PITTSBURGH, Pa. (PRWEB) December 17, 2017 -- Parents of young children know that mealtimes are synonymous with extra laundry and baths since more of the food often ends up on the child than is actually eaten. Fortunately, an inventor from Homosassa, Fla., has found a way to reduce cleanup time.
She developed THE AWEsome BIB to provide better protection than standard bibs for babies and toddlers who are learning to feed themselves. As such, it eliminates the need to clean food residue out of a young child’s hair and clothing after eating. Besides promoting more sanitary conditions, this garment is practical, comfortable and attractive.
Furthermore, it saves time, energy and laundry expense and is easy to use, wash and store for reuse. Other appealing features include convenience, effectiveness and an affordable price.
The inventor’s personal experience inspired the idea. “When my children were learning to feed themselves, they would, of course, use their hands and then rub the food in their hair and on their clothes,” she said. “While experiencing this same behavior with my grandchild, I decided that conventional feeding bibs were not effective in preventing messy toddler mealtimes.”
