Judges Announced & Deadline Extended for Aquent/Vitamin T’s Designing for Good Program
Boston, MA (PRWEB) December 18, 2017 -- Judges have just been announced for Aquent and Vitamin T’s second annual Designing for Good program. This unique grant program awards $5,000 design grants to five individuals who will put their creative ideas to work making a difference for a nonprofit organization of their choosing.
For the second year in a row, a distinguished panel of judges from the design world will review the submissions and choose the five projects that are the most creative, feasible, and likely to make the strongest impact for good.
This year’s judges offer wide-ranging industry expertise and come from the United Kingdom, Australia, and the United States:
● Marianne Dear, Creative Lead at Wellcome Trust in London, England
● Gerry Scullion, Industrial Designer and Founder of Humana Design in Sydney, Australia
● Jason Pamental, Senior Director of Design & Technical Strategy at Isovera in Providence, Rhode Island
● Carla Silvey, Product Management Director & UX Design Leader in San Francisco, California
Due to the popularity of the program, Aquent and Vitamin T also announced they will be extending this year’s submission deadline until January 21, 2018. “We’re proud of the work last year’s winners accomplished with the grant money. Their accomplishments in the areas of domestic violence prevention and support, youth mentoring, immigrants’ rights, and disability awareness were inspiring,” said Aquent president Cheryl King. “By extending our deadline, we hope to allow as many innovative ideas as possible to be considered for the grants.”
The program isn’t limited to designers or marketers—or even to Aquent and Vitamin T customers. Any individual with a great idea of how to use marketing or design to further the cause of their favorite charity is encouraged to apply. Submissions with the most impactful ideas will be selected for the five $5,000 grants to see their idea come to life and make a difference.
Those who would like to enter should upload a 90-second video submission to the Designing for Good website by January 21, 2018
