“Drama: My Life in the ER”: a book full of wit that shows a nurse’s colorful and humorous experiences inside the Emergency Room. “Drama: My Life in the ER” is the creation of published author, Jay Fyve who has clearly found numerous ways to entertain
himself at the expense of others.

Jay shares, “After helping a guy of his mid- 50’s into the triage chair, attaching him to the monitor and getting his vitals, I began asking him about his reason for this visit, medical history and what medicines he takes. Almost without fail anymore, after a certain age, the husbands look at the wives to get the answers to my questions. This man began by telling me his heart meds, cholesterol meds and medical history. As he finished he looked puzzled and stared at the floor for a second, then looked at his wife- “Honey, what’s the name of that little blue pill that I take to make me fall asleep before you?” He asked trying to recall Ambien. With a certainty that only a wife could have and stern tone of disappointment she replied- “Viagra.”
