Advantage CCS Announces Forthcoming Retirement of President and CEO Stephen Piotrowski
PITTSBURGH (PRWEB) December 20, 2017 -- Advantage Credit Counseling Service is announcing the planned retirement of President and CEO Stephen J. Piotrowski. Mr. Piotrowski began his affiliation with the agency in 1989, serving as a member of the board. Prior to joining the agency in 2002 as President and CEO, he worked for Duquesne Light, a Pittsburgh-based electric utility company for twenty-nine years. While at Duquesne Light, Mr. Piotrowski held various senior management positions. Mr. Piotrowski also served as a Board Director of Financial Advantage Federal Credit Union located in Homestead, Pennsylvania, for fourteen years and held the position of President of the Board on four separate occasions. Mr. Piotrowski said, "It’s truly been an honor working for an agency that provides such critical services to the community and being associated with such dedicated employees.”
Gary Vollmer and Mary Loftus, who held vice-president positions at the agency, will be taking over as Co-President and Co-CEO effective January 1st, 2018. Mr. Vollmer and Ms. Loftus have a combined experience of over 45 years with the Agency. Both individuals have a passion for the agency’s mission and are excited about this opportunity and positioning the agency for continuing success.
Mr. Vollmer has been with the agency for 17 years; his last position was Vice President of Marketing and Operations. Mr. Vollmer also has over 20 years of experience in information technology, which has enabled Advantage to provide some of the most efficient processes and services the industry has to offer. Prior to joining the agency, Mr. Vollmer was the CIO for AG Industries, with revenues of approximately $120 million. He was responsible for directing all aspects of the company’s worldwide information technology needs. His work history also includes seven years of MIS experience with Dick Enterprises, a worldwide leader in commercial construction services.
Ms. Loftus has spent most of her career working for the agency. She began in 1989 and her last position was Vice President of Agency Services and Education. Ms. Loftus currently serves on the board of the National Foundation for Credit Counseling. She also taught personal finance for several years at Seton Hill University.
