•Cutting-Edge Cuisine by sbe: Lifestyle hospitality leader sbe opened SLS Baha Mar in mid-November along with three culinary and entertainment venues on the property including Cleo featuring shareable Mediterranean cuisine from Executive Chef Danny Elmaleh; Bungalow Pool Bar & Grill offering a playful selection of signature cocktails and lunch fare; and Monkey Bar, the signature SLS lobby bar, featuring an extensive wine and cocktail menu with light bites. Additionally, sbe opened its internationally renowned Katsuya in mid-August in the center of Baha Mar Casino, featuring Master Sushi Chef Katsuya Uechi's modern take on Japanese classics with design icon Philippe Starck's sleek and sultry interiors. •Authentic Chinese Fine Dining at Shuang Ba: Baha Mar is bringing elevated regional Chinese cuisines to the island, focusing on the primary Chinese methods of cooking from the North, South, Southwest and the East. The number 8 symbolizes fortune and good luck, and the 88-seat restaurant has designated chefs from multiple Chinese provinces, each specializing in one signature cooking method including dumplings, Dim Sum and Peking Duck. Guests are invited to explore traditional Chinese fare with a dedicated Baijiu menu featuring an extensive list of this ancient Chinese distilled spirit, the largest in the Caribbean.
•Regatta Buffet at Baha Mar: Baha Mar is introducing the ultimate buffet experience in the Caribbean. Featuring five cooking stations including made-to-order omelet stands, smoothie counters, rotisserie ovens, and an open-kitchen that showcases wood-burning grills, Regatta offers guests an array of global fare for breakfast and dinner.
•Conch Cooking at Da Conch Shack: Perhaps the most famed seafood of the Bahamas, guests can see how conch is harvested, prepared and sustainably served just steps from the sands at Baha Mar's Conch Shack. Interactive, chef-led classes showcase how conch is traditionally prepared: scorched, citrus-laced and served in a spice-inflected salad along with a daiquiri or local beer.
•Bahamas on Tap at Swimming Pig: The recently opened modern riff on a British Gastropub features 24 beers on tap, many of them Bahamian favorites such as Kalik and Sands. Guests can experience guided tastings of an international collection of brews paired with locally inspired cuisine.
