RapidScale Hires Scott Williams As Senior Cloud Architect
(PRWEB) December 19, 2017 -- RapidScale, a leader in managed cloud services, welcomes Scott Williams to the team as Senior Cloud Architect. Scott is based in Virginia Beach, VA. His responsibilities include developing and contributing to RapidScale’s cloud architecture and secure design of networks, storage, compute, virtualization, and performance across the cloud stack including IaaS, PaaS, and DaaS.
Prior to joining RapidScale, Scott was the Cloud Visionary and Vice President of Compliance and Security for WHOA where he oversaw the deployment and secure compliance of the entire cloud stack for PCI DSS 3.2, HIPAA, and ISO 27001:2013. Previous to his tenure at WHOA, he was the Cloud Architect at Windstream Hosted Solutions where he designed, secured, and created the chargeback platforms for their latest generation infrastructure for cloud.

He has been featured in the IT industry as a speaker and featured in publications such as CIO Review. He authored the first accredited healthcare IT book based on HIPAA for the CompTIA Healthcare Certification.
