115 Plant Tours, Networking, and Educational Events Produced by the Georgia Manufacturing Alliance in 2017
ATLANTA (PRWEB) December 20, 2017 -- Since 2008, the Georgia Manufacturing Alliance (GMA) has been the fastest growing community of industry professionals in the state. This is due in large part because of the aggressive event schedule they provide. A double plant tour hosted at ZF Gainesville on November 28th marked the 100th event that they have hosted this year and, by the close of 2017, GMA will host 115 events.
GMA provides a wide variety of events each month including plant tours, educational workshops and networking events across the state. They are a 250-member strong organization and are leading the charge in producing a broad selection of events for each segment of the manufacturing industry.
“We will host 115 events this year and will exceed 3,000 attendees,” said Jason Moss, CEO of the Georgia Manufacturing Alliance. "With 5 chapters across the state, we try to offer events in each region that will help our members stay up-to-date with what is happening in the manufacturing community and make valuable connections for their businesses.”
GMA hosted over 50 plant tours this year including top name brands such as:
Clorox – along with the Clorox brand, they produce all the Pine Sol products in the U.S.
Daniel Defense – one of the largest competitors in the AR-15 firearms market
Husqvarna – internationally known manufacturer of lawnmowers and snow blowers
KIA Motors – 1st manufacturing site in the U.S. for the Sorento and Hyundai brands
Kings Hawaiian – nationally known food brand voted top manufacturer in state for 2017
Savannah Bee - featured as a “Small Business Success Story” on CNN
Yamaha – leading manufacturer of ATV’s, Golf Carts, and Personal Watercraft
“Whether you are a manufacturer who wants to see operational procedures in action, an industry professional that needs OSHA, or a sales representative who needs a networking group in the manufacturing space, the Georgia Manufacturing Alliance has events for each segment of the industry,” continued Mr. Moss. “GMA provides an industry platform for manufacturing leaders to form strategic alliances, share best business practices, and make profitable business connections.”
