Mediaplanet's Construction In America Campaign in Partnership with Autodesk Launches Today!
NEW YORK (PRWEB) December 19, 2017 -- In partnership with Autodesk, Inc., Mediaplanet today announces the launch of this December’s “Construction in America” campaign. A publication spearheaded by: associations, key thought leaders, celebrities and organizations within the AEC sector as to create an education guidebook for professionals within the industry.
With the world’s population projected to rise by 2.5 billion by 2050 and three out of every four people living in cities, this campaign will shed light on best practices for constructing the buildings and infrastructure necessary to meet the growing demand. As Autodesk notes in the campaign, we will need to build more, build better, and build with less waste and impact on our planet.
In this issue, the Associated General Contractors of America sheds light on the importance of finding and using the right technology during a project lifecycle to accomplish this goal. Advocating for the importance of investing in tools which can help to achieve: total worksite visibility and productivity, improve communication and safety, reduce a projects carbon footprint while simultaneously erasing the need to spend time tracking down people and information.
Autodesk’s construction management software, including Autodesk® BIM 360™, accomplishes this by connecting the people who design with the people who build. Providing teams with the information when and where they need it. “Construction projects are incredibly complex,” says Sarah Hodges, Director of Autodesk’s Construction Business Line. “Our innovative approach to connecting information in a single platform that supports the complete project lifecycle is helping construction firms to work smarter and more efficiently.” Autodesk software is one of the many ways AECOM successfully delivers on some of the most complex projects in the world, like Brooklyn, New York’s 19,000 seat Barclays Center.
The print component of “Construction in America” is distributed within today’s edition of USA Today in Los Angeles, Boston, Miami, Denver, New York, Dallas, Houston, Washington, DC, Cincinnati markets, with a circulation of approximately 250,000 copies and an estimated readership of 750,000. The digital component is distributed nationally, through a vast social media strategy and across a network of top news sites and partner outlets.
