Susan Kay, a mother and grandmother who enjoys exploring, reading, and living a healthy lifestyle, has completed her new book “Hector”: a lovely narration of a grandson’s growth that shows his favorite things, whereabouts, hobbies, and other fun-filled activities.
Author Kay narrates Hector’s condition when he was born: “Hector was born two months early. He weighed three pounds one ounce and had to stay in the hospital for two months because he was so tiny.
Since Hector was born so early, there were a lot of tubes and wires attached to him because doctors needed to check to see how he was doing and growing.
Sometimes Hector’s mommy was able to hold him while he was in the hospital. She loved holding and touching him.
When Hector weighed five pounds, the doctor allowed him to go home.”
Published by New York City-based Page Publishing, Susan Kay’s detailed story about Hector shows her love for her first of many grandchildren. Many of his adventures are taken into account as wonderful moments meant to be treasured—those experiences when he has a smile on his face, enjoying life.
Readers who wish to experience this entertaining work can purchase“Hector” at bookstores everywhere, or online at the Apple iTunes store, Amazon, Google Play, Kobo or Barnes and Noble.
