AppSheet Sponsors Online Conference for Aspiring & Early Stage Entrepreneurs
SEATTLE (PRWEB) December 27, 2017 -- AppSheet today announced a partnership with Apps Without Code LIVE, an online conference about scrappy ways to launch startups on a budget, Feb. 5-9, 2018. The event is aimed at non-technical entrepreneurs who want to build apps and grow sustainable online businesses without taking on outside investment. More than 2,000 aspiring and early stage entrepreneurs are expected to attend the event, which will feature keynotes, workshops and panel discussions by industry experts in growth marketing, app development, and bootstrapping. Craig Newmark, the founder of Craigslist, will headline the four-day conference with a talk on bootstrapping.
“Apps Without Code LIVE is for anyone who has ever had an idea for an app or startup, but wasn’t exactly sure how to get started,” says Tara Reed, CEO of Apps Without Code. “You don’t have to know how to code, or have millions of dollars in venture capital, or be a marketing genius to launch a successful tech company. You’ve just got to be scrappy.” Reed built her first app, Kollecto, without writing a single line of code, and launched a startup school, Apps Without Code Bootcamp, in 2016 to help other non-technical entrepreneurs do the same.
The conference will be hosted on an interactive, online platform, with video presentations, Q&As, and discussions available in real time to attendees across the globe. The all-online format has allowed conference organizers to curate a diverse lineup of speakers that rivals those of other, more established conferences - at a fraction of the cost. Among those speakers to join headliner Craig Newmark for the event are: Rand Fishkin, founder of SEO giant Moz; Emmanuel Straschnov, co-founder of the code-free development platform Bubble; Wade Foster, founder and CEO of automation software Zapier; David Chen, founder and CEO of web design software Strikingly; and Danielle Leslie, founder and CEO of the online course consultancy Culture Add Labs.
AppSheet will lead a workshop, “How to Build an App Without Code” during the event.
“These are people who have made it big in tech by being scrappy,” says Reed. “We want to highlight those stories. Because not everyone is building the next Facebook, and not everyone is going to land a huge investment deal. But anyone can apply these same tactics and strategies to grow a profitable online business.”
Early bird tickets are just $97 and available through December 31st, after which regularly priced tickets may be purchased for $197. For more information about the conference, or to purchase tickets, visit AppsWithoutCodeLIVE.com.
