Chester County Exterior Remodeling Business, Milanese Remodeling, Celebrates 60 Years of Service with Open House Party
COATESVILLE, Pa. (PRWEB) December 22, 2017 -- Just like any other year, Milanese Remodeling’s 2017 End-of-Year Open House party at their Coatesville showroom on December 28, 2017, will be a celebration with the Milanese team and its customers, but this year, it also honors a major milestone in the business’s history - and that’s Milanese Remodeling’s 60-year anniversary. Since March 28, 1957, family-owned and operated Milanese Remodeling has served Pennsylvania, and this year, the Pennsylvania House of Representatives took note. Those six decades of business earned the company a Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Citation, which recognizes the company’s commitment to providing top-notch service and improving lives of members within the community.
"The House of Representatives of Pennsylvania is always proud to recognize those businesses which, through adherence to the highest standards of service, contribute to the well-being of their communities and ultimately to all the people of the Commonwealth," PA Representative Tim Hennessey said when awarding Milanese Remodeling the Citation at their Founder’s Day Event on March 28, 2017.
The Milanese family’s dedication to customer service is what has kept them thriving for three generations.
“Customer service has been a way of life for our family since Mom and Dad first started out. It is part of our DNA to be polite, courteous and trustworthy,” Mark Milanese, owner of Milanese Remodeling, said. “We listen to our clients, solve their problems the right way and provide service after the sale. It’s the only way a business can thrive in a community like Chester County, where word of mouth is so important.”
In addition to serving their community through home beautification, the Milanese family has found other ways to give back. In July of 2013, Gabe Milanese Jr.—beloved father, brother, husband and a key team player—lost his life to a brain tumor. That’s when the family formed the Gabe Milanese Jr. Foundation (also referred to as Team Gabe), an organization dedicated to raising money for brain cancer research in honor of Gabe.
Team Gabe hosts an annual Beef & Beer Fundraiser and walks annually in the Philadelphia Race for Hope. Trish Milanese, Gabe’s wife, believes these efforts are a way to continue her husband’s legacy.
“It makes me think of one of my favorite quotes from Christopher Reeve, ‘Once you choose hope anything’s possible.’ Team Gabe, with the help of many family and friends, chooses hope and knows one day a cure will be found,” Trish said.
“It makes me tear up when I think that all Gabe wanted had to do with the future for everyone else. He was never concerned about himself; all he wanted was for a cure to be found to help others.”
The Milanese Remodeling End-of-Year Open House party and 60-year celebration is free and open to the public. It will take place in the company’s showroom at 50 Broad Street, Coatesville, PA 19320, on Thursday, December 28, 2017 from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.
