Jovani Fashions Donating Prom Dresses to Help Disadvantaged Young Women in Yonkers High Schools Have the Night of their Lives
NEW YORK (PRWEB) December 29, 2017 -- Jovani Fashions, a New York City-based manufacturer and designer of fashions for young women, has donated selections from its 2018 collection of prom dresses to eight public high schools in Yonkers, New York. The firm says that the dresses will be made available to students who will be attending prom, but who may not have the financial wherewithal to purchase an appropriate dress. The Yonkers Board of Education presented the fashion firm with a certificate of appreciation on December 20 as a thank you gesture for the donation. The dresses are currently on display at Saunders Trade & Technical High School, one of the eight high schools whose students will benefit from the donation.
A selection of dresses will be provided so that young women who would otherwise be unable to afford a prom dress, can “shop” for, and select the item that they think will work the best for them, says Jovani Fashions. The firm notes that, as a firm which sells dresses in department stores and boutiques in New York State and nationwide that has achieved a great deal of success, it is always looking for new ways to give back to the community. The firm adds that its prom dress donation program is simply a natural extension of its commitment to providing outstanding prom dresses and other evening wear to young women from all backgrounds and walks of life.
