Through collaboration with family, friends and other partygoers on the perfect shared playlist for any special event, Party Play is poised to define the way the world parties for years to come.

Party Play, the new music app dubbed as a free social jukebox, launched today in the U.S. market in both the App Store and Google Play. Unlike simple shared playlists on other existing music applications, Party Play allows users to share living collaborative playlists – pulling music from other apps, including Spotify and Apple Music – with friends, family and other everyman-DJs to easily set the musical tone for any type of event in real-time and as they evolve.
Party Play requires a Wi-Fi connection to create an interactive music playlist which can then be shared with other partygoers, road trippers or study partners on the same network. Whoever joins the playlist can then immediately add songs from Spotify, Apple Music or directly from their devices to the rotation. Users have the option to purchase and use Drops to push their selected track to the top of the shared playlist, creating both a fun competition and a sense of true musical collaboration! Party Play plans to add SoundCloud and other streaming services to the mix over the coming months.
Arkadii Oganian, CEO and Founder of Party Play, marks his own experiences with creating playlists for events with friends as the driving force behind the app. “Inspired by beach parties, house parties and open-air events, a friend and I started planning our own stylized get-togethers, hoping to generate the same kind of feeling we’d been experiencing at these energetically electric events,” says Oganian. “But there was a problem: nobody wanted to manage the playlist all night, or figure out what would kind of music would make everyone happy. And so Party Play was born.”
Party Play aims to save every party from being tied down to a single DJ, a bad playlist or a disorganized music experience. Through collaboration with family, friends and other partygoers on the perfect shared playlist for any special event, Party Play is poised to define the way the world parties for years to come.
Located in the Canary Islands, Party Play was founded as an entertainment company in 2013 by Arkadii Oganian and Ara Safaryan. Today, the company has five full time employees on staff. The Party Play app launched in beta mode in 2016 and to consumers in 2017.
