Cancer Survivor Launches Campaign to Fund Life-Changing Coaching Programs
Victoria, BC (PRWEB) April 25, 2017 -- In February, the Canadian Cancer Society and the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation announced a merger in the face of plummeting donations. At the Canadian Cancer Society, which is about four times larger than the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation, revenue from donations and other sources, including lotteries, fell from $215.2-million in 2012 to $180.3-million in 2016 – a reduction of more than 16 per cent.
Local author and cancer coach, Annie Pool, says the decline in funding could be a reflection of how people are tiring of the traditional way of raising money to do research to find cures for cancer. People are also tired of “fighting” and “battling” cancer. Pool wants to change the battle to an epic healing adventure. To launch her online coaching programs, she has traveled from Victoria to San Diego as a celebrity guest expert.
Pool is seeking sponsorships from various organizations in support of her mission to empower cancer survivors through coaching and her upcoming book. To support the mission and a shift from fighting a battle with cancer to embarking on an epic healing adventure for you or someone you love, contact us.
