GoBRT Expands its Wedding Base with a New Blog Website Called Blue Ridge Bride
Winchester, Virginia (PRWEB) March 30, 2017 -- Blue Ridge Bride is a new community with a theme centered on romance and adventure and an emphasis on local resourcing here in the Shenandoah Valley. This website is story-driven with an emphasis on the people and emotions behind hosting a wedding in the Shenandoah Valley. GoBRT’s team will also offer wedding tips and words of wisdom on this blog
The goal of Blue Ridge Bride (BRB) is to connect brides and grooms with not just potential vendors showcasing the vendor’s passions for their industry, but to also showcase the valley as a great travel destination for the brides and guests.
“For the past twelve years, I have been producing Blue Ridge Bridal Show. The shows reach a very local audience but do not really reach out to the destination brides nationally,” said Nancy Craun, owner of Blue Ridge Bride.
The Shenandoah Valley and the Blue Ridge Mountains offer both breath-taking views as well as tranquil settings for the bride not wanting a metropolitan setting. Here in the valley, wedding venues have quadrupled the since we launched Blue Ridge Bridal Show. The valley has a diversity of choices from the rustic barns, mountain top ceremonies, to luxury country inns. There are also wineries and breweries or a simple cabin setting on the Potomac or Shenandoah River.
With the goal of marketing the Shenandoah Valley as a great place to get married, Craun has worked with the leading wedding professionals in the region for the last 12 years. This website was recreated from the Blue Ridge Bridal Show website, and though Craun is retiring from the bridal shows, Craun is excited to be delving into the world of wedding blogs. Drawing on the strength of twelve years of SEO marketing with Blue Ridge Bridal Show, Blue Ridge Bride is ahead in its placement on the search engines.
What also sets this wedding blog apart from others is that it has a travel planning guide for the brides and guests to develop a plan and share with friends also coming to the special event. Blue Ridge Bride is a member of the Go Blue Ridge Travel marketing community.. Blue Ridge Bride allows readers to easily connect to its sister sites (Virginia Kids Trail, Go Blue Ridge Travel, and Taste of Blue Ridge) to book romantic getaways, plan family vacations, or find a new restaurant or brewery while in the Shenandoah Valley. All four of these websites reach out to the same demographics - females 24 - 44, affluent, educated, and many with families. They offer these demographics different experiences, which often can overlap.
“Our GoBRT blog is now printed on four other leading websites including blog.virginia.org, Blog Lovin It, the WinchesterStar.com, and DailyNewsRecord.com. Our views have increased by 394% over the past year,” said Craun.
One of our most read articles is “Top Wedding Destinations that Live and Breathe Local Resourcing”. Blue Ridge Bride connects the best chefs in the Shenandoah Valley directly with the brides thru Taste of Blue Ridge.
“This is a really unique way for the brides to get to know who the people are behind the scenes,” said Ryann Crawford of HF Adventure Center.
Brooke Null of Brooke Danielle Photography said, "This is how I book my clients. I build a one to one relationship that allows me to truly capture their day thru photography in a very personal way.”
“We will welcome other blog writers to submit an article to Blue Ridge Bride, said Erin Scherer, Digital Marketing Content Coordinator for GoBRT and BRB. Learn how at this link.
Advertisers are now being accepted. “This is a perfect website for businesses who have no time to write blogs. Blue Ridge Bride offers different blog packages so one can be published monthly, quarterly, or yearly,” said Craun. So many wedding vendors are small business and do not have the time nor the talent to write.”
