Her expertise encompasses customs compliance, export and import controls, economic sanctions, blocking measures (Cuba), defense trade controls and anti-dumping and countervailing investigations. She is also a leading expert on government contracting and has represented clients in bid disputes before the Canadian International Trade Tribunal and courts. She regularly advises clients on Canada’s international, trade and investment agreements, including investor state disputes under Chapter 11 of the NAFTA. She has represented clients in some of Canada’s highest profile trade disputes in softwood lumber, dairy products, alcoholic beverages, baby food, natural resources and energy.
