“Complicated by the client’s circumstances, we had to complete this gut renovation of the apartment in less than 90 days,” said Paula McDonald, Owner and Managing Director of her namesake firm. “The main goal and requirement was to achieve the client’s objective for entertaining in a small Manhattan apartment! We transformed the tiny galley kitchen to the best that it could be including every modern amenity in less than 11 feet!! It is a stunning transformation to create an open integrated plan with the kitchen at the center of the perfect entertaining layout in a small one bedroom apartment. We love this kitchen and our client was thrilled!”
The Chrysalis Awards program, begun in 1994, recognizes the nation’s best work in fifteen general categories of residential and commercial remodeling. The Chrysalis Awards are open to every professional remodeler and design professional in the United States.
