Dutch Wonderland, A Kingdom for Kids!, is hosting a birthday celebration for their mascot, Duke the Dragon, on Friday, June 16 and Saturday, June 17. Party guests will join Princess Brooke, the Knight of Safety, and Merlin for a surprise dance party from 3:15pm to 4:30pm at the Celebration Theater at Dutch Wonderland.

Prior to the celebration, children can help create a birthday card for the guest of honor and play games at this dance party bash. At the end of the event, birthday treats will be served to all guests, provided by Shady Maple Farm Market and Oregon Dairy Supermarket. Park hours are 10am to 8:30pm on Friday and Saturday. Duke’s Birthday Party is free with paid park admission, and will be held rain or shine.

The fun continues later this summer, as Dutch Wonderland opens its first suspended roller coaster: Merlin’s Mayhem. This family coaster will take guests on an enchanted journey through Dutch Wonderland to find Merlin the Magician’s runaway dragon friend, Mayhem.
