Joining the Phoenix office are new members Ronald Hatcher, Timothy McCulloch, Thomas Nolasco, and Edward “Teddy” Eynon. Attorney Carlos Gutierrez joins the Phoenix office as Of Counsel. The addition of the five lawyers further solidifies Dickinson Wright’s Phoenix footprint and strategically places the firm in seventeen major commercial markets in the United States and Canada.

This expansion also increases our practice offerings for businesses in Arizona and provides our clients with better nationwide coverage.”

Ronald Hatcher is a Member in the firm’s Phoenix office. He has been representing national, regional and local clients in all aspects of real estate transactions, development and financing for nearly 20 years. He maintains an active national real estate and financing practice; he has handled real estate deals in nearly every state with a significant volume in Arizona, California and Texas in particular. His experience includes leasing, purchase and sales, entitlement work, landlord-tenant negotiations, reciprocal easement agreements, joint ventures, development agreements, alternative energy issues, and related matters. Mr. Hatcher also helps clients with real estate financing and has experience with construction and permanent loan transactions, acquisition loans, refinancings, and loan and lease modifications. His clients include Fortune 500 companies, individuals, national and regional commercial retail and residential developers, and national lending institutions. Mr. Hatcher received his B.S. from the University of Arizona and his J.D. from the IIT Chicago-Kent School of Law.

Timothy I. McCulloch is a Member in the firm’s Phoenix office. He focuses his practice in business and commercial litigation with particular emphasis on the aviation industry. He represents numerous commercial aircraft operators, flight schools, fixed-based operators and airport sponsors. He also represents banking institutions seeking to judicially or non-judicially foreclose upon aircraft loans. He has defended aircraft operators, fixed-based operators and airport sponsors against negligence claims, and has first-hand experience with airport land use, Part 16 complaints, permitting, noise, hangar condominium development, environmental, and grant assurance compliance issues. He has litigated disputes between competing fixed-based operators spurred by allegations of procurement code and federal grant assurance violations. He also represents commercial aviation interests and is experienced in corporate aircraft ownership, aircraft management and leasing structures. He has substantial experience with unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) and unmanned aerial systems (UAS). He has negotiated Letters of Agreement (LOA) for near airport operations and consulted with UAV and UAS operators in obtaining Section 333 waivers, COA’s, and SAC’s as well as FAA regulatory compliance. Mr. McCulloch received his B.A. from the University of California, Irvine and his J.D. from the University of California, Davis.

Thomas Nolasco is a Member in the firm’s Phoenix office. He assists clients in a wide variety of areas including breach of contract, real estate, cannabis, products liability, intellectual property, creditor/debtor and international disputes. He defends claims against professionals including lawyers and accountants, directors and officers, architects and engineers, bankers, and real estate agents, brokers and appraisers. He also represents manufacturers, distributors and suppliers in disputes arising from allegations that a product caused harm or death. Mr. Nolasco regularly intervenes when business owners fight with their partners or third parties. In disputes between business partners, he often tackles issues involving compensation, accounting, theft and control of the business. To resolve these disputes, he routinely helps his clients with judicial dissolution, appointment of receivers, buyouts and related settlement arrangements. Mr. Nolasco received his B.A. from DePauw University, his J.D. from Marquette University, and his M.B.A. from Thunderbird, The School of International Management.

Carlos Gutierrez is Of Counsel in the firm’s Phoenix office. He helps clients effectively resolve commercial and employment-related disputes. He handles a wide range of issues, including cases involving aviation law, civil malicious prosecution, construction law, contracts, conversion, copyright infringement, employment law, enforcement of judges, fraud and fraudulent transactions, joint ventures, landlord-tenant, partnerships, real estate law, successor liability, tax appeals, trade secrets and unfair competition, and tortious interference. Mr. Gutierrez received his B.S. from Arizona State University and his J.D. from Arizona State University College of Law.

Edward “Teddy” Eynon is a Member in the firm’s Phoenix and Washington, D.C. offices. He represents clients in a wide range of matters related to government relations and public policy at all levels of the federal government, including: energy and environment, budget, defense, healthcare, financial services, transportation and infrastructure, congressional investigations and oversight, and homeland security policy. As Deputy Chief of Staff to former Arizona Congressman John Shadegg, Mr. Eynon has a comprehensive understanding of the legislative process, which enables him to effectively assist clients in developing strategies for promoting, defeating or providing input on pending legislation. He regularly monitors and analyzes federal and state legislative and regulatory processes, leveraging this knowledge to formulate strategies that aid in the enactment of state and congressional legislation. Mr. Eynon received his B.A. from Denison University and his J.D. and LL.M. from Pace University School of Law.
