Vector Marketing Awards 10 Southwest Region Campaign III Team Builder Scholarships to Student Sales Reps
Austin, TX (PRWEB) May 02, 2017 -- Vector Marketing, the sales and marketing arm of Cutco Cutlery, has awarded 10 Team Builder Scholarships totaling more than $2,500 to its top-selling team leaders in the Southwest Region. Individual scholarships range from $100 to $1,000 and are for the region’s Campaign III, a period covering September through December. Vector will award more than $10,000 in Team Builder Scholarships this year to leaders with the highest personal sales and sales of their recruits.
Each sales team is made up of a student sales representative and anyone he or she recruits to sell Cutco Cutlery, the world’s finest knives. “Vector offers a challenging yet fun work environment, and it offers even more enjoyment when our representatives can work and compete with their friends,” said Brian Winans, Southwest Region sales promotion manager. “By helping bring on additional friends to their Vector office team, representatives can personally build their own sales teams. And the leaders of the top sales teams each campaign will win cash scholarships.”
Birmingham, Alabama resident Dunn Collins won the top Team Builder Scholarship for Campaign III. Collins joined Vector a few months ago and has already sold more than $22,000. He and his team of four recruits sold more than $56,000 for Campaign III.
Collins plans to use his $1,000 Vector Marketing scholarship for college. He hopes to attend the University of Alabama and pursue a degree in business. He says he loves how Vector affords him the flexibility to do well in school and enjoy outside interests such as golf and his Christian youth group.
Collins credits his success to deeply caring managers who are invested in helping people thrive. He tells people he recruits to work with Vector that the company is a great first job. “It’s a really good experience, teaching you the characteristics of how to be successful,” he said. “It prepares you for employment in the future.”
Division Manager Brian Stephenson praised Collins’ positive demeanor and commitment to success. “I am so proud of Dunn for this huge accomplishment,” said Stephenson. “Dunn has such a great attitude. He is someone I can count on to be consistent week to week, which you can see by him earning this scholarship with only himself and four other friends.”
Southwest Region student representatives Dennis Brown, Ben Schrimsher, Nick Doucet, Benton Crane, Mckennon Kessler, Andrew Cofield, Brent Lowell, Jake Bergman and Jevon Bromwell also won Team Builder Scholarships for Campaign III.
