"High Point remains one of the key destinations for furniture buyers from across the globe, and so it has been a huge honor to add this unique building to its skyline, a market where our brand has enjoyed continued success.” - Christopher Guy Harrison

International luxury decorative furnishing brand Christopher Guy (CG) will celebrate a decade of design by opening its cutting-edge showroom at High Point Spring Market on Friday, April 21, 2017.

The stand-alone, 20,000 square-foot building--the first to be built in High Point in over 12 years-- marks one of the most significant undertakings by CG America. Designed by award-winning visionary and CG founder, Christopher Guy Harrison, the impressive new building, fronted by reflection pools and 30-foot windows, is located directly adjacent to IHFC and Showplace in downtown High Point.

At a cost of more than $7 million, the stunning, two-floor showroom’s architecture is a reflection of Christopher Guy’s timeless designs, where a host of new and exciting introductions will be on view for the first time.

"This is the perfect way to celebrate our tenth anniversary,” said Mr. Harrison. “High Point remains one of the key destinations for furniture buyers from across the globe, and so it has been a huge honor to add this unique building to its skyline, a market where our brand has enjoyed continued success.”

“High Point is known across the globe for our outstanding furniture,” said Mayor of High Point, Bill Bencini. “With this important investment and partnership with International Market Centers and an industry design leader like Christopher Guy, we will continue to solidify our stellar reputation as the Furniture Capital of the World.”

CG now has showrooms worldwide--including New York, Shanghai, Frankfurt, Nanjing, London and Perth, and offers online customers instant accessibility to preview all of the brand’s collection at christopherguy.com.

Mr. Harrison will mark CG’s decennial anniversary by hosting a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 3:00 pm on Friday, April 21 at the new showroom, located at 129 South Hamilton Street in High Point. Local dignitaries and community leaders will join Mr. Harrison for the ribbon cutting along with other luminaries.

Christopher Guy Harrison is available for interviews before and during High Point Market, from April 21 – April 24.
