The ranking is based on relocation data from a subset of 1,000,0000 household goods relocations from January 1, 2017, through October 1, 2017.
Updater’s Top Fifteen Moving Destinations included the number one destination – Washington, D.C. – with Dallas-Fort Worth coming in second, followed by Los Angeles, New York City, Atlanta, Austin, Houston, Philadelphia, San Francisco and Chicago. The remaining cities include Orlando, Seattle, Denver, Boston, and Phoenix.
