U.S. Dermatology Partners enters the state of Virginia by partnering with Dermatology Associates of Northern Virginia
CENTREVILLE, Va. (PRWEB) January 02, 2018 -- U.S. Dermatology Partners(“USDP”) is pleased to announce that it has entered the state of Virginia by partnering with Dermatology Associates of Northern Virginia (“DANV”). U.S. Dermatology Partners is a physician-owned, dermatology-focused practice management organization.
DANV was founded in 1992 by Dr. Neeraja Mattay and serves the greater North Virginia area with two locations in Sterling and Centreville. The practice offers a comprehensive array of dermatological treatments including general, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology. DANV has a team of five board-certified physicians and two physician assistants on staff.
Dr. Neeraja Mattay obtained her undergraduate degree from Georgetown University and attended medical school at the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond, where she was inducted into the medical honor society, Alpha Omega Alpha. After medical school, she remained at the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond to complete her Dermatology residency. Dr. Mattay is currently on staff at the George Washington University Medical Center, and has been named a Top Doctor by the Washingtonian. She has also been named as a “US News Top Doctor” and a “Northern Virginia Top Doctor.”
Dr. Nickolai Talanin came to the U.S from Russia after graduating with honors from Tashkent State Medical Institute. After arriving in 1992, he held the position of Assistant Professor at the Medical College of Ohio. His dermatology residency was completed at the University of Tennessee, after which he pursued clinical research in a fellowship position at the National Cancer Institute’s Dermatology Branch. More than forty of Dr. Talanin’s articles, covering skin care and various skin diseases, have been published in leading professional journals. He remains especially interested in dermatologic surgery.
Dr. Anjali Chandela earned her degree in Molecular Biology with honors from Princeton University. She earned both an MD and PhD degree from Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis before completing a dermatology residency at Cornell Medical College (in affiliation with NY Presbyterian Hospital) in New York. From 2006 to 2010, Dr. Chandela served as Assistant Professor of Dermatology at Cornell Medical School. She is especially interested in cosmetic dermatology, women’s dermatologic issues, psoriasis, eczema, acne, skin cancer, and rosacea.
Dr. Brendan Camp graduated with honors from Cornell University with a degree in biochemistry. As a medical student at SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, he participated in a one-year epidemiology fellowship at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). He finished his internship in internal medicine at the University of Chicago. Dr. Camp completed his residency training in dermatology at New York-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center, followed by a fellowship in dermatopathology at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. He was previously Assistant Professor of Dermatology at George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences. Dr. Camp's interests include medical and surgical dermatology.
Dr. Liza A. McClellan-Moore earned her undergraduate and medical degree from Duke University. She completed her dermatology residency at Roger Williams Medical Center in Providence, RI. She is an active member of the American Academy of Dermatology, Women's Dermatological Society, and the Skin of Color Society. In addition, she is also board-certified in internal medicine and has numerous publications in reputable dermatological journals. She is especially interested in hair loss, laser and cosmetic dermatology, non-invasive facial rejuvenation, acne and psoriasis.
Joining the physicians of DANV are their two highly-experienced physician assistants: Song Jin Kim, PA-C, and Michelle Burton, PA-C.
