“A Model Conservative”: a bold and frank discussion on taboo subjects from the Christian Conservative Perspective. “A Model Conservative” is the creation of published author, Henry R. Vinson. Henry is a Christian, husband, father, grandfather, manager, pilot, author, Texan, teacher/counselor, Conservative, seventh-generation Tennessean, and buddy to his three-year-old Cairn Terrier. Henry spent the first ten years of his life in the small rural town of Model, Tennessee. He then moved with his mother, father, and sister to Clarksville, Tennessee. Henry’s trip from Tennessee to Texas with the Department of Defense had several stops along the way, which included Ohio, North Dakota, Texas, Berlin West Germany, Nebraska, Indiana, and then Texas again. He now lives with his wife, Millie, in Texas. His daughter, son-in-law, and two grandkids live nearby. He was a department store manager for The Post Exchange/Base Exchange (PX/BX). He managed six large retail department stores for military forces around the country and in Germany. When he retired after thirty-one and a half years, he was the chief of the construction and equipment division, which was responsible for all major construction and major equipment acquisition for the PX/BX around the world. This allowed him to visit most of the military installations in the United States and overseas. For nine years, Henry was president of Henry Vinson, Inc. His company provided full government contracting services to businesses. He is currently employed at a large university where he teaches and counsels businesses on government contracting. He believes it is every American’s responsibility to be patriotic.

“I wrote this book of opinions based on life events and hard facts. This is not a spur of the moment thing but an accumulation of notes I’ve made over the past several decades. Part of the reason for this book was so my grandchildren could understand who I am and why I thought it necessary to explain the seriousness of the attempts to destroy the best religion and government the world has even known.” --Henry R. Vinson

Published by Christian Faith Publishing, Henry R. Vinson’s new book confronts the failed leadership of Liberals.

It has often been said one should avoid discussions on religion and politics. Not here. From the existence of God to immigration, this book takes on every topic from the author’s Christian Conservative perspective. Christians and Conservatives have been left out of the conversation for decades. All the subjects that are taboo for Christians and Conservatives to talk about are boldly taken on with facts and opinion. Even the subjects owned by the Left, such as abortion, are discussed.

Henry R. Vinson breaks down what he believes are the three basic big government leftists. Read the author’s concerns about global cooling, global warming, and climate change. Read about his personal experiences at an army hospital and a VA hospital, which he views as examples of socialized medicine. Read the abuses suffered by U.S. citizens under the failed leadership of past Liberal Presidents and other Liberal leaders. The author makes the case that it is a century old trend of sabotage.
