ORLANDO, Fla. (PRWEB) January 03, 2018 -- Two showcases of the latest homebuilding products and building practices will feature the convenient built-in cleaning and allergen reducing BEAM central vacuum systems. Free shuttles will operate from the Orange County Convention Center to take IBS attendees to and from the homes. The homes will open to the general public during Orlando's Parade of Homes in May.

The showcase homes, sponsored by the National Association of Homebuilders, include The New American Home® -- a 6,533-square-foot Tuscan-style home in the Bella Collina golf community west of Orlando, and The New American Remodel™, a completely renovated 80-year-old home north of downtown Orlando that was expanded from 2,300 to 5,300 square feet.
Both The New American Home and The New American Remodel meet or exceed rigorous energy efficiency and indoor air quality requirements. Both homes include energy-efficient BEAM Alliance central vacuum power units that have earned National Green Building Standard indoor air quality certification from the National Association of Homebuilders Home Innovation Laboratory. The Alliance also informs the user about the system's operating performance on a hose handle display and it allows the user to increase or decrease suction power for tough or delicate cleaning.
The New American Home also includes two BEAM Alliance Q cleaning sets, one for each level of the house, and a VacPan automatic dustpan at the base of a kitchen cabinet. The homeowner simply sweeps crumbs to the base of the VacPan and presses a toe switch that pulls the debris away.
The New American Remodel includes the BEAM Precision® cleaning set that adjusts to four different heights to clean any surface from tile and hardwood to super-plush carpet. The Precision's Brushroll Tangle Remover allows the user to step on a pedal that lowers a blade to cut away hair or fiber that wind around the brushroll. Five installed VacPans offer allow quick cleaning of debris.
