OBX Media’s marketing team was presented with the task of making the Modern Beach website an extension of Nicole’s design style while also including an online shop to sell modern beach home décor. A black and white color scheme and modern typography combined with the minimalist design, highlights the local designer’s eye-catching photography of her portfolio of interior designs.
The online store was created in the WordPress platform with shopping cart and inventory management integration. The online store is organized by categories to help users easily browse through the inventory. A key feature to the design was to make the site responsive and seamlessly exist across all devices including desktop, mobile and tablet. The site was then optimized with SEO (search engine optimization) strategies to help Modern Beach House rank well in the major search engines.
