GDPR Portal partners with ICAEW to help members prepare for GDPR
London, UK (PRWEB UK) 7 January 2018 -- The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) comes into effect on 25th May 2018. The Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) has stated that GDPR will have a major impact on ICAEW members and has advised them to prepare for the changes that are coming. Many ICAEW members, even if they have a theoretical understanding of the requirements of GDPR, may find it difficult to start the practical steps required for a successful GDPR compliance project.
GDPR Portal, is a cloud-based solution that provides small and medium-sized organisations with a cost-effective way to manage their compliance with GDPR. ICAEW technical experts have recognised that GDPR Portal’s framework and functionality will be beneficial to ICAEW members in tackling the challenge of preparing for GDPR.
Mark Taylor, ICAEW Technical Innovation Manager, commented “The Institute takes GDPR very seriously and will be ensuring that our members do so as well. We believe that GDPR Portal will be of assistance in helping our members with the not inconsiderable challenge of complying with this new regulation.”
Ben Grey, the Founder of GDPR Portal added “We are delighted to be partnering with ICAEW to help its members comply with GDPR. GDPR Portal will provide them with a highly effective yet flexible and low-cost way to manage the compliance process.”
GDPR Portal and ICAEW will be hosting a webinar for ICAEW members on 6th February 2018 which will demonstrate GDPR Portal’s functionality and how it will help members with the compliance process.
