The Integrative Health Center of Alabama (IHCAL), a leading functional medicine practice for the treatment and reversal of chronic conditions, has announced the expansion of its treatment programs for Type 2 diabetes and hyperthyroidism.

As part of the expanded program, the IHCAL team is hosting a series of free dinner events to help those suffering from diabetes and hyperthyroidism to understand their options. The IHCAL’s How to Reverse My Condition in 6 Months or Less dinner event provides an opportunity for sufferers to ask questions, learn about their condition, and talk to qualified medical professionals.

“As a medical practitioner, I’m committed to helping people achieve wellness and a positive quality of life, but all around us there are people suffering from chronic diseases like Type 2 diabetes and hyperthyroidism which aren’t being treated effectively,“ said Dr. Jason J. Koenig, D.C., founder and clinical director of IHCAL. “IHCAL is expanding its treatment of these conditions because we want to help people reverse chronic conditions and regain their health.”

Type 2 diabetes and hypothyroidism cause suffering and expense for people across the US, and Alabama has one of the highest proportions of diabetes sufferers in the nation. IHCAL’s expanded Type 2 diabetes and hyperthyroidism treatment program provides patients with the help they need to alleviate their symptoms and improve their quality of life.
