The Cloud Awards are increasingly competitive every year, which is why being shortlisted for not one, but three categories is such an honor.

Esker, a worldwide leader in document process automation solutions and pioneer in cloud computing, is a finalist in the 2017-2018 Cloud Awards Program in three categories: “Best in Mobile” Cloud Solution; Best Cloud Payment, Finance or Billing Solution; and Best Cloud Automation Solution.

“The Cloud Awards are increasingly competitive every year, which is why being shortlisted for not one, but three categories is such an honor,” said Steve Smith, U.S. chief operating officer at Esker. “We are proud to have our team’s dedication to innovation and excellence recognized.”

Esker started as a software vendor in 1985 with a vision to help businesses deliver their paper documents electronically. Today, Esker is a worldwide leader in document process automation software, providing on-premises and on-demand solutions for order-to-cash (O2C), purchase-to-pay (P2P) and document delivery processes. Esker’s solutions were finalists in the following categories:

•Best Cloud Payment, Finance or Billing Solution: Esker’s Accounts Receivable automation solution automates the entire process of delivering and archiving invoices, regardless of media type, in compliance with global regulations.
•“Best in Mobile” Cloud Solution: Esker’s Mobile Invoice Approval Application, Esker Anywhere™, delivers faster invoice processing, improved efficiency and on-the-road accessibility for employees who approve vendor invoices prior to payment.
•Best Cloud Automation Solution: Esker on Demand is designed to eliminate the paper and inefficiencies associated with bringing money in and sending payments out. Easily integrated with existing infrastructures, Esker software helps businesses optimize financial management and supply chain performance.

Cloud Awards organizer Larry Johnson said: “Again, we have seen an overwhelming level of engagement from organizations of all sizes, each showing their commitment to cloud-based technologies and leveraging them in their own unique way. We have seen new levels of excellence in the submissions reviewed, and the judges have had great difficulty in categorizing those applications which should move further in the process.”

The cloud computing awards program celebrates excellence and innovation in the rapid-growth cloud computing market. Organizations of any size are accepted for consideration in the program, including those from governmental bodies, startups and established multinationals. Over 300 organizations entered, with entries coming from across the globe, covering the Americas, Australia, Europe and the Middle East.
