ISCD Announces 2018 Course Schedule
MIDDLETOWN, Conn. (PRWEB) January 06, 2018 -- The International Society for Clinical Densitometry has released the dates and locations for the live courses they will be offering in 2018.
Quality Bone Densitometry/Osteoporosis Essentials is a 2-day training specifically geared to the diagnosis, treatment and monitoring of skeletal health. The course is an essential, but not required, course for individuals pursuing certification in densitometry or those wanting to ensure they are performing quality skeletal health assessments and osteoporosis therapies. The course is concurrently offered for clinicians and technologists on the following dates/locations:

Vertebral Fracture Recognition, February 28, 2018, Boston Park Plaza Hotel, Boston, MA
VFR an advanced densitometry course that focuses on vertebral fracture imaging, which offers a significant advance in the diagnosis and management of patients at risk for osteoporotic fractures by allowing clinicians to identify and treat those who would not be recognized using a bone density test alone.
DXA Body Composition Analysis, March 3, 2018, Boston Park Plaza Hotel, Boston, MA
This course focuses on successfully using DXA body composition analysis in the management of obesity, geriatric sarcopenia and other low muscle mass states, general health and pediatric skeletal disease.
Pediatric Bone Densitometry, March 3, 2018, Boston Park Plaza Hotel, Boston, MA
This course is an advanced densitometry course that provides an overview on obtaining and interpreting bone mineral density (BMD) measurements in children and adolescents.
