OTJ Architects Promotes Five to Leadership Positions
WASHINGTON (PRWEB) January 08, 2018 -- OTJ Architects is pleased to announce the promotion of five staff members to leadership positions: Holly Martin, IIDA, CID, LEED AP, Preeti Reddy, NCIDQ, IIDA, and Denise Myler were advanced to Associate, while Katherine Tong, IIDA and Elizabeth Long, AIA, LEED AP were named Studio Directors. Managing Partner Lance Jaccard, AIA, IIDA, LEED AP, remarked: “OTJ continues to experience accelerated growth. The addition of these talented professionals to our leadership team will ensure that we are ideally positioned to deliver projects of increasing complexity and design quality.”
Holly is an accomplished designer who engages clients, consultants, project managers and real estate professionals in the design and delivery of transformative workspaces. Holly’s Masters of Real Estate Management offers her a unique, business-centric perspective on design that aligns strategic, operational and human objectives. Holly is a recognized leader of the D.C. design community, the president of IIDA Mid Atlantic Chapter and an active member of corporate real estate associations. Holly is currently at work on the renovation of international law firm Jenner & Block’s 80,000 SF D.C. office.
Preeti is a Senior Project Designer who enjoys working with her clients to ensure that the aesthetic of their space reflects the organization’s culture. Preeti is the head of several internal organizations at OTJ where she strives to nurture a strong sense of community. She is currently working on the D.C. office of Feeding America and recently completed the design for American Psychiatric Association’s 63,000 SF D.C. workplace. Preeti received a Bachelor of Interior Design from Eastern Michigan University.
Denise Myler is a Business Development Manager whose background in interior design offers her a unique understanding of the factors that contribute to a project’s success. She is dedicated to the development of long-lasting, trust based client and industry relationships and has played a vital role in the expansion of the firm’s client base. Denise is an active member of the Washington, D.C. CREW chapter and serves on the JDRF Real Estate Games planning committee. She is a graduate of Boston College where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in English.
Katherine is a workplace strategist and designer who credits the success of her projects to a singular emphasis on the human dimension of the built environment. By working from the onset to gain an in-depth understanding of each organization’s culture and brand identity, Katherine develops bespoke workplaces where innovation and business flourish jointly. In addition, Katherine is uniquely experienced in the selection and specification of furniture solutions that support operational objectives. Katherine holds a Bachelor of Science in Interior Architecture from Radford University. Notable recent projects include the first Washington D.C. facilities of the University of Virginia Darden School of Business as well as the repositioning of the famed Army Navy Building.
Elizabeth is a talented design architect who is adept at guiding the client through the interior architectural design process. She is a proven leader accustomed to performing in deadline-driven environments. Elizabeth is passionate about the field of design and architecture and believes that the built environment affects individuals’ professional and personal well-being and can contribute to or detract from their success. Elizabeth graduated from Auburn University with a Bachelor of Architecture. She has recently completed projects for clients such as Booz Allen Hamilton and Adobe Systems.
