National Association of Professional Women Inducts Susan Cohen, CEO of Susan Cohen Communications LLC, Into its VIP Professional Woman of the Year Circle
GARDEN CITY, N.Y. (PRWEB) January 10, 2018 -- The National Association of Professional Women (NAPW) honors Susan Cohen as a 2017-2018 inductee into its VIP Woman of the Year Circle. She is recognized with this prestigious distinction for leadership in entrepreneurship. NAPW is the nation’s leading networking organization exclusively for professional women, boasting more than 850,000 members, a thriving eChapter and over 200 operating Local Chapters.
“I’m pleased to welcome Susan into this exceptional group of professional women,” said NAPW President Star Jones.
Susan Cohen delved into digital communications in 1993, as a writer and information designer for traditional media. “I was inspired by Web 1.0 and the incredible new ways to exchange information in 3-D conceptual space,” said Ms. Cohen. An entrepreneur with her own communications business since 1985 who has worked with many household-name global brand clients, she has been an independent consultant at prestigious global advertising agencies, consulting rms and client-side.
As CEO of Susan Cohen Communications LLC, Ms. Cohen’s main role is Digital Content Strategist. “I analyze clients’ communications needs, goals and current challenges, then develop content solutions to successfully engage end-users/customers and deliver clients’ business and brand goals,” she said. Ms. Cohen provides content strategy, digital strategy, creative strategy and copywriting for client’s various communications channels. “However people want to communicate, I’m all in for helping out!”
“I also coach my clients through the complex processes involved in digital strategy, content strategy, tactical plans, content creation, publishing, creative resourcing, content marketing and other communications challenges,” said Ms. Cohen. “At the core, it’s all about how to create compelling connections with your customers – which for large global brands who have been my main clients can be a challenge; how to be ‘real’ and human while also being a sizable brand. Then the trick is to formalize those learnings with an ongoing, systematic yet super- flexible approach to content creation.”
Although it takes extra energy to juggle both the business and creative sides of her company, Ms. Cohen said she is rewarded by the “scope and caliber of opportunities to work with amazingly talented collaborators here in New York and across the globe, and to help many great clients.” She looks forward to working with other women-owned businesses and to helping more owners achieve success. She is currently working on creating a virtual program that teaches about the effectiveness of content strategy for business success. “I’m excited to help support more successful women business owners in positions of power and influence and, of course, stellar communications are part of the recipe for success,” added Ms. Cohen.
