Dr. Arun Kalra joins The Oncology Institute of Hope and Innovation
DOWNEY, Calif. (PRWEB) January 18, 2018 -- Dr. Kalra is a board-certified oncologist that has over 35 years of medical experience.
Dr. Kalra began his medical education at Dav College in Punjab where he studied Pre-Med, then transferred to All India Institute of Medical Sciences in New Delhi, India, and then went on to study natural sciences and cancer pharmacology at State University of New York. He received a Master’s Degree in Natural Sciences and a PhD Candidacy in Cancer Pharmacology from State University of New York in Buffalo, New York. He completed his residency training at Wayne State University Medical Center in Detroit, Michigan, followed by medical oncology and senior research fellowships at Roswell Park Memorial Institute in Buffalo, New York.
Dr. Kalra has maintained an active involvement in cancer research studies and authored numerous medical publications. Dr. Kalra has also taught at various schools including: Western University of Health Sciences, University of Southern California, University of Rochester Medical School and State University of New York Medical School.
Dr. Kalra is fluent in in Hindi, and Punjabi.
