Wharton Seminars for Business Journalists

What: Through intensive lectures and hands-on exercises, the Wharton Seminars for Business Journalists, led by the Wharton School’s most prominent professors, help reporters gain a better understanding of key business and economic issues. This no-cost, one-day program will feature Wharton Professor Gad Allon and Adjunct Professor David Wessels on “Scaling Firm Operations and How Firms Use Social Media to Leverage Their Best Customers” and “Venture Capital and Firm Valuation,” respectively.

Celebrating its 50th anniversary this year, the Wharton Seminars for Business Journalists offers participants an opportunity to expand their knowledge, network with journalists from around the world, increase their exposure to leading experts and broaden their perspectives in a stimulating environment. This program is free of charge and open to a limited number of journalists.

When: March 8, 2018, 8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. Registration deadline: February 26, 2018

Eligibility: Applications are open to those who are employed or freelance full-time as a print, broadcast or online business journalists for legitimate media companies.
