BuzzBuzzHome Makes Online New Home Sales a Reality for First Time with Launch of BuyNow
TORONTO (PRWEB) March 07, 2018 -- New home search portal BuzzBuzzHome is launching online home sales this month, an industry first in North America. Beginning March 7, 2018, buyers purchasing homes at Barra on Queen, a new condo development in Kitchener, ON, will be able to use BuzzBuzzHome’s BuyNow feature to complete the transaction digitally using only their credit card. The BuyNow feature allows buyers to select their desired unit, add parking spaces and lockers, sign their sales agreement and pay the initial deposit. Barra on Queen builder Polocorp will be the first adopter of the innovative technology, with more lined up in 2018.
The move will transform BuzzBuzzHome, a Toronto-based tech company founded in 2009, from a new home discovery site into North America’s first viable online marketplace for residential real estate.
BuzzBuzzHome President and co-founder Matthew Slutsky says his company’s BuyNow feature will revolutionize the residential real estate industry.
“With the introduction of BuyNow, BuzzBuzzHome is allowing new homebuyers to complete the entire purchasing process from the comfort of their home or Realtor’s office, or wherever else they may be,” says Slutsky.
“As North America’s largest and most comprehensive listing of new construction homes, buyers could always compare up-to-date pricing, view floorplans and renderings, and explore amenities using our site. But once you’ve done all that important research, now you’ll actually be able to complete the deal without leaving the BuzzBuzzHome site,” he says.
Slutsky and his team have long believed the physical paperwork and sales center required to sell new construction homes — a $20 billion-plus market in North America — felt very antiquated in the age of Amazon.
“Consumers are becoming far more comfortable with the idea of purchasing higher-priced items online,” says Slutsky. “And, for buyers looking at new construction homes, everything we’ve observed from years of serving this industry indicates these consumers are ready for an online purchasing option.”
After Barra on Queen launches with the BuyNow online purchasing option, Slutsky believes further adoption across the industry will accelerate as builders see the efficiencies, convenience and vastly improved customer experience the platform provides.
At Barra on Queen, Polocorp will also be using the BuzzBuzzhome-developed inventory management system, Daypack. Launched in 2017, the Daypack software gives the homebuilder’s sales team real-time access to Barra on Queen’s inventory and allows them to easily track units that have been sold and see what’s still on the market. Daypack also directly feeds the BuzzBuzzHome database with up-to-date information on available home inventory, so homebuyers searching online will know exactly which units remain for purchase. The seamless Daypack and BuyNow integration with the BuzzBuzzHome site ensures the new home sales process can be moved entirely online.
"Partnering with BuzzBuzzHomes and Daypack was a no-brainer,” says Polocorp CMO Joseph Puopolo. “Their digitally savvy and excellent solution will be an important part of the way Polocorp launches projects going forward. Barra is only the first of many projects that will be BuyNow and Daypack enabled."
Slutsky says that homebuilders will be using BuyNow to enable online home sales across both Canada and the United States by the end of 2018.
