Tastings.com Launches 2018 Editorial Calendar With Innovative New Categories
CHICAGO (PRWEB) January 10, 2018 -- The World Wine Championships is Tastings.com’s largest beverage review with over 3,000 wines tasted annually. This year’s review calendar will include new calls for wines from the exciting Eastern European region, trendy new Rosés, and even Wine Cocktails like delicious Mimosas and Sangrias. These are just a few fast-growing segments selected by the Tastings team for 2018. “Rosé wine has surmounted its fad status and has become the new normal here in the states. Just like Rosé's place in European culture, the category has become an American summer staple,” says Laura Kruming, Assistant Director at Tastings.com. Because 90% of all wines sold in the US today are $20 under, Tastings.com’s has created a unique review called World Value Wine Challenge for their editorial focus. Now in its 18th year, the competition’s mission is to find the best tasting, most affordable wines on earth. If a wine brand wishes to be a part of this review, they must enter by August 1st here.
Fabulous new spirits and libations are discovered every year in Tastings.com’s International Review of Spirits. In 2018, the company is expanding its World Cocktail Championships with an opportunity for products to compete for the title of Best Gin, Best Tequila, Best Rum and Best Whiskey in the respective class cocktails of Martini, Daiquiri, and Manhattan. Tastings.com’s partnership with The Rumlab continues this year and their Chicago Rum Festival will be the largest rum festival in the Midwest. And as co-producers, Tastings.com will review Rums featured at the fest and participate in Rum education and seminars. Spirits brands must enter here.

Tastings.com loves to embrace those foamy tides of change and will feature new categories for Foraged Beers, Barrel Aged Imperial Stouts, an even Hard Sodas, a popular new category that has never been formally reviewed. Brewers and brands can enter of type of beer or beer style to the World Beer Championships here for a powerful review from our expert professionals.
