Mark Houpt Appointed as Chief Information Security Officer for DataBank

Mr. Houpt joined DataBank as part of the Edge Hosting acquisition and brings over twenty-five years of information security and information technology experience across a diverse range of industries and institutions. In this newly created leadership position, Mark will drive DataBank’s information security and compliance initiatives to ensure that the company’s solutions continuously meet the rigorous compliance and cyber-security standards our customers demand. In addition to managing a team of dedicated security and compliance engineers, Mark will also be responsible for developing and maintaining the company’s security program roadmap and datacenter compliance programs.
