Grant Team Wishes Gives Back to Orange County
Orange County, CA (PRWEB) January 15, 2018 -- Through Share Our Selves, Grant Team Wishes was able to bring hope and cheer to a family of six at a time when celebrating the season didn’t seem possible. This incredible family has been struggling to persevere through challenging times. With a son battling malignant melanoma and a mom undergoing testing for cervical cancer, the family has been forced to face one unimaginable trial after another. From doctor’s visits to treatment plans and everything in between, it’s been difficult for the family to enjoy the holiday season that so many people often take for granted.
Thanks to the Adopt A Family Program at Share Our Selves, Grant Team Wishes had the opportunity to provide the family with gifts that would brighten their spirits just in time for the holidays. Purchasing everything from toy cars to school clothes, watches, and soccer equipment, Grant Team Wishes made sure the four children would wake up Christmas morning with the same wonder and glee in their eyes. For the parents, Grant Team Wishes provided gift cards to Target, gas stations, and grocery stores with one gift card amounting to $200 so the family could enjoy a complete Christmas dinner.
The Ryan Grant Team had the best time playing Santa for such a loving, caring and strong family. Despite all the adversity, the family’s wishes were simple and modest. Our team had the pleasure of granting those wishes, bringing hope and Christmas spirit back to a more than deserving family.
