In addition to the main conference program, attendees can choose from an optional suite of sessions that, while not eligible for continuing medical education (CME) credit, promise to provide valuable research findings, insights, product information, and patient outcome data directly from leading diagnostic labs, nutraceutical companies and other integrative innovators.
These sessions, made possible by esteemed sponsor companies, are a popular draw for the thousands of practitioners who attend this conference to stay on top of the latest scientific breakthroughs and patient-care strategies. Some of the most popular non-CME formats returning this year include optional Pre-Conference Workshops, Breakfast and Evening Symposia, and a Meet the Speakers Reception & Book Signing.
The pre-conference program, taking place Wednesday, Feb. 21, offers attendees two all-day workshop options, each running from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.: Navigating the Gut–Brain Axis to Optimize Cognitive Health Across the Lifespan or The Epigenetics of Inflammation: Why Whole Food Nutrition Supports Healthy Inflammation Response. In each workshop, attendees will dive deep into the topic at hand, with instructional sessions led by fellow MDs, DOs, NDs, and other practitioners and subject matter experts. These are complemented by panel discussions featuring leading thinkers, researchers, and businesses in the space. Sessions throughout the day are buffered by breaks, giving attendees the chance to connect with each other, grab a snack, or catch up on emails from the office. Pre-conference sessions have limited seating and are ticketed separately.
Building on the pre-conference momentum, non-CME educational opportunities continue into the main 3-day event, including multiple chances to learn from leading companies and experts at the Breakfast and Evening Symposia on Friday and Saturday.
