Integrative Healthcare Symposium Brings the Entire Industry Together
Enables thought leaders, product developers, and practitioners to mix, all for patients’ benefit
At the Integrative Healthcare Symposium, taking place Feb. 22-24 at the New York Hilton Midtown, top names in the industry will share their latest research findings and most promising new products with practitioners from across the United States.
In addition to the main conference program, attendees can choose from an optional suite of sessions that, while not eligible for continuing medical education (CME) credit, promise to provide valuable research findings, insights, product information, and patient outcome data directly from leading diagnostic labs, nutraceutical companies and other integrative innovators.
These sessions, made possible by esteemed sponsor companies, are a popular draw for the thousands of practitioners who attend this conference to stay on top of the latest scientific breakthroughs and patient-care strategies. Some of the most popular non-CME formats returning this year include optional Pre-Conference Workshops, Breakfast and Evening Symposia, and a Meet the Speakers Reception & Book Signing.
The pre-conference program, taking place Wednesday, Feb. 21, offers attendees two all-day workshop options, each running from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.: Navigating the Gut–Brain Axis to Optimize Cognitive Health Across the Lifespan or The Epigenetics of Inflammation: Why Whole Food Nutrition Supports Healthy Inflammation Response. In each workshop, attendees will dive deep into the topic at hand, with instructional sessions led by fellow MDs, DOs, NDs, and other practitioners and subject matter experts. These are complemented by panel discussions featuring leading thinkers, researchers, and businesses in the space. Sessions throughout the day are buffered by breaks, giving attendees the chance to connect with each other, grab a snack, or catch up on emails from the office. Pre-conference sessions have limited seating and are ticketed separately.
Building on the pre-conference momentum, non-CME educational opportunities continue into the main 3-day event, including multiple chances to learn from leading companies and experts at the Breakfast and Evening Symposia on Friday and Saturday. Each 45-minute symposia time slot offers attendees a menu of four to six sessions on topics including GI symptom management, neuropsychiatric disorders, lifestyle medicine, cardiovascular disease, the endocannabinoid system, nutritional genomics, Alzheimer’s/brain health breakthroughs, use of bioidentical hormones, glutathione for detoxification and immunity, and more.
The Meet the Speakers Reception & Book Signing on Thursday, Feb. 22 from 5:00-7:00 p.m., is another opportunity for attending practitioners to meet and mingle with the conference’s authors and speakers. A complete list will be posted on the conference website in coming weeks.
Other non-CME highlights include daily early-morning yoga, mid-day stretching/meditation classes, a bustling exhibit hall, new lunch & learn presentations, and opportunities to casually connect during breaks and at the Relax & Recharge Lounge.
Registration is now open and includes access to all Thursday, Friday, and Saturday sessions and events. Exhibit Hall passes are included with the conference passes or can be purchased separately. Pre-conference workshops are ticketed separately, but can be bundled with a full conference pass for a discounted rate. Full details are available at ihsymposium.com/register.
Qualified members of the press employed by accredited consumer or trade news organizations are invited to attend, but must pre-register for a press pass at ihsymposium.com/press.
