Y-Tech Adds Former NSA Senior Executive, Ethan L. Bauman as Chief Operating Officer
ANNAPOLIS JUNCTION, MD (PRWEB) January 16, 2018 -- Premier government contractor Y-Tech announces that it has hired Ethan L. Bauman as Chief Operating Officer, to assist in the company’s continued growth. This strategic move reflects Y-Tech’s commitment to expanding its business in providing solutions and services to federal and state agencies and the private sector.
Mr. Bauman will lead the company’s operating divisions, ensure customer satisfaction and oversee contract compliance. Reporting directly to Y-Tech’s President and CEO, Hannibal S. Jackson, Mr. Bauman will partner closely with the company’s executive leadership team and is deeply involved in all aspects of Y-Tech’s leadership.
Prior to joining Y-Tech, Mr. Bauman served for over two decades as a senior leader at the National Security Agency (NSA). He joined NSA as the agency’s first externally-hired Inspector General. He went on to become NSA’s Chief Financial Manager, Deputy Chief of Staff, Director of Legislative Affairs, and Deputy Director of Engagement & Policy, serving as a member of the agency’s Board of Directors. He previously served as an Assistant U.S. Attorney for the Justice Department, practiced law in a private firm, and worked as a Legislative Assistant in the U.S. House of Representatives.
Mr. Bauman holds a law degree magna cum laude from Georgetown University Law Center and a B.A. from St. John’s College in Annapolis. He has participated in executive development programs at Harvard, the Center for Creative Leadership and Johns Hopkins University, among others.
