PALM SPRINGS, Calif. (PRWEB) February 01, 2018 -- Brad Schmett, of Brad Schmett Real Estate Group and Keller Williams Realty today announced that with The Season in full swing, the 20th Annual Tour de Palm Springs set for February 9-11 is expected to draw a significant number of charity minded luxury homebuyers and investors to the area. With the still low interest rates and a solid inventory of luxury and Mid-Century homes, the Schmett Team is planning ahead to accommodate the influx of buyers.

This year the Tour de Palm Springs is partnering with New Balance Palm Desert half marathon and 5K to bring back The Brick. In triathlon, a brick is a bike workout that is followed by a run. Participants are invited to start training for The Brick on Saturday and Sunday, February 10 and 11, 2018. If they participate in any distance of the Tour de Palm Springs on Saturday and either the 5K or half marathon at the New Balance Palm Desert on Sunday, they’ll receive a Brick Award to mark their achievement!

Schmett recently commented, “This year the Tour comes just before Modernism Week allowing a perfect opportunity to get a preview of some of the most prestigious neighborhoods in Palm Springs. From the Movie Colony to Old Las Palmas, everyone loves to see the unique Mid-Century architecture we are so famous for. My team and I are standing by to welcome new friends and neighbors."

Bike rentals are available and detailed route and registration information is available online. Expect to see Vendor Expos, including booths from some of the charities that will be benefited. Having fun for a good cause is what Tour de Palm Springs is all about. The Tour de Palm Springs has raised more than $3 million dollars for Coachella Valley charities since 1999 and is considered a signature Palm Springs event.
