“NRP believes in the strength of men and women working together for success”
DALLAS (PRWEB) January 16, 2018
National Roofing Partners (NRP), the leading network of commercial roofing contractors in North America, is proud to renew their support of National Women in Roofing (NWIR) as a platinum sponsor. As an original founding sponsor of NWIR, NRP has been a leader in the association from the beginning not only financially but through the time and talent of NRP employees and contractors.
Mallory Payne, national account manager for NRP and Chair of the NWIR Mentoring, and her committee, has been involved with NWIR as the Mentoring Chairperson for two years. Heidi J. Ellsworth, strategic initiatives director for NRP is the founder and current Chairperson of NWIR. Every woman at the corporate office of NRP is also a member and many are active in the Dallas, Texas council.
“NRP believes in the strength of men and women working together for success,” stated Dale Tyler, president of NRP. “Early on, we made the commitment of being a NWIR Founding Sponsor now we are very happy to renew at the platinum level. We know the importance of women-owned businesses and women in leadership both in the office and on the rooftop. It is the future of this industry.”
“NWIR was incorporated in February of 2016 and has seen extreme growth the past year. Our sponsors are essential to the success of the association,” stated Ellsworth.
“This association is committed to empowering women within the roofing industry through ongoing mentoring events,” continued Payne. “This year’s National Women in Roofing Day on February 4, 2018 will be an excellent opportunity for women to meet and network. Mallory has been a big part of the planning for NWIR Day and the NWIR IRE reception on February 5, 2018.”
NRP’s national footprint of tier one roofing companies continues to expand with a strong emphasis on diversity and technology. “Labor is critical for the industry and we must focus on the recruitment of talent no matter the gender, age or race. The growth and use of strong technology is critical for our future and that means being open to all people without limitations,” concluded Tyler.
