SIP trunking modernized the provincial government’s call centers

Ingate® Systems has been selected by a Canadian systems integrator to upgrade an existing Ingate SIP trunking deployment for a hosted call center for a Canadian province. The systems integrator will install larger Ingate SIParator® Session Border Controllers (SBCs) to increase call capacity, and add Ingate disaster recovery solutions.
Ingate SBCs have enabled more than 11 million calls annually from 33 contact centers across the province since 2013. The Ingate products have proven high performance combined with extreme reliability in this mission-critical deployment. The installation will be upgraded with Ingate’s Software SIParator® E-SBC, the software version of Ingate’s award-winning SBC. The Software SIParator can be deployed on the customer’s own hardware x86 virtual machines. Each can handle up to 2,000 simultaneous calls.
Ingate VoIP Survival will enable disaster recovery. Ingate VoIP Survival ensures continued communications service even if the hosted server goes offline due to connection failure or malfunction. This increased availability means that unnecessary downtime is minimized.

The Ingate E-SBC enables seamless interoperability between the systems integrator’s contact center solution and the SIP trunking service.
