Proactive Worldwide Elevates Senior VP Erik Prentice To COO Role
SCHAUMBURG, Ill. (PRWEB) January 17, 2018 -- Competitive Intelligence firm Proactive Worldwide announced Senior Vice President Dr. Erik Prentice has accepted a larger role within the firm, taking on new responsibilities as Chief Operating Officer. CEO Gary Maag stated the move affirms Prentice’s game-changing contributions as a senior leader within the organization, specifically in growing PWW’s lines of business and increasing its profitability, while also leading PWW’s Healthcare and Life Sciences practice.
Prentice, who obtained his Ph.D in Microbiology and Immunology, is also a seasoned intelligence professional with extensive policy development and project management experience within the Defense Intelligence Agency, Joint Chiefs of Staff, and the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) agencies. More recently at PWW, his leading role in the diversification efforts to include new portfolio service offerings have helped PWW achieve double-digit, top and bottom line growth across a diverse portfolio of clients and have expanded the firm’s client base by twenty percent. Prentice was also responsible for the development of best practices in company project management, resource tracking and allocation.
Maag emphasized Prentice’s multi-dimensional background and proven abilities are what make him the logical choice to manage PWW’s operations and growth strategies going forward. “When you consider his expert-level knowledge of intelligence gathering, his superior project management skills, and the respect he has earned from clients, our researchers, and analyst staff, Erik has no peer,” he added.
